Through our program, Mr. Alal learned English and acquired the skills necessary to secure a job with Emirates Airlines, where he worked diligently as a wheelchair porter. Demonstrating exceptional generosity and commitment, he saved all of his tips to fulfill his dream of establishing a school in his community.
Tragically, Mr. Alal passed away recently, leaving behind a legacy that we are dedicated to honoring and sustaining. The Helping Hands School, situated in a rural area grappling with the impacts of climate change, faces numerous challenges. These include infrastructural difficulties, access to resources, and environmental vulnerabilities.
